@ah1864 we fruit them in the 60s but elm can fruit in the 70 to 80s even. The product quality goes down with high fruiting temperatures and your more prone to bacterial and insects

@dashbennett5711 yes all masters mix. The black bags can help reduce side pinning and pinning in the bag which can lead to a bigger harvest. Not all species benefit from the black as much as others though. Like shiitake you wouldn't want to use black.

I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

@archiewebster5034 we can ship it to a port and work with you on exporting. You would want to find your own local importing broker and freight company since we don't have any accounts in Europe. But yes we can. We have 2 units going to the UK on the next run.

@@MyersMushroomsFarms I would love to see you make a video on testing a new method of filling blocks that would ultimately decrease labour by over 50% with equal time required per rotation cycle. The idea as suggested on the email I sent you, is to steam pasteurise the substrate within the batch mixer, let it cool down, add and mix the spawn into the cool pasteurised substrate and fill the bags through the volumetric gate valve dispenser. You would also, be doing something that I thought was impossible without a production line, which is reducing the bag handling down to 3 (with wheeled shelving), as opposed to 4-5 *pre-fruit*. Ps: you would require HEPA air flow above and below the mixer/pasteuriser. Above for keeping substrat clean during pasteurisation + adding spawn. And below for filling + sealing the bags. Additionally the leakage of water through the steam inlet has to be compensated for in the water content of the substrate. I find this very interesting, either way I will try it and let you know but it will take a while. Getting quotes at the moment. However it would be my pleasure to use your model for this test. @tegancooper-hughes5174 it would be no different then removing the rocker. It would just blow steam. That being said I've never had a probe blow out. It's only 1/8" and 15 psi so a pound or two of pressure pushing it out.

@curtislam4725 its just dawn and water, a bit of acid sanitizer. With oxine and chlorine which we use sparingly we can don our organic vapors respirators.

@clmrlv3291 all dry into the mix. You'll want to start adding your water then add the lime so it wets in quickly and doesn't just kick up dust.

Works every time! We already flushed these out the part 2 I posted a few weeks ago I just never launched this video till now. We maybe lost 4-6 bags and they were likely the last few bags out the mixer where we were brushing the tub out and there wasn't much spawn.

Most states don't require a license, not until you deal with processing the mushrooms. Bank accounts are free and credit cards want to literally give you money and a huge line of credit more then you'd ever normally get. File your company with your state, like $100.

@@MyersMushroomsFarms what does that mean, "processing" the mushrooms. Are you saying that in general you do not need any license or health certificate to sell to resaurants or at fleamarkets?

@user-xb1ht4py2v it's not until you get to distribution level that you might be required MGAP, GAP, Organic for fresh produce. On the processing, chopped, canned, dried, extracted and any processed goods all needs licenses and process approval. We have a USDA/FDA inspected processing facility so we can legally ship out of state and country even.

Mylar bubble Insulation on the condenser, foam tubing Insulation on your hoses. Are you pulling vacuum on it? Could also be from rough handling and you put a stress crack into it that then got bigger with heat cycles.
